I believe we've compiled Xerces with gcj already. At least, I know
Alex worked on a bunch of bugs revealed by attempting to compile it.

We're interested in having people try gcj on existing useful code. I
think building Ant with gcj would be cool. If it doesn't work, then
that is cool too -- it will generate useful bug reports that we can
use to improve our compiler.
