Please show
grep '^SHELL =' alphaev67-dec-osf5.1/libjava/libltdl/Makefile
and if you want Java enabled, please set and export CONFIG_SHELL to some bash
instance before running $CONFIG_SHELL path/to/toplevel/configure ...
as documented in the installation manual.
