Ouch. Is it possible that nobody really reviewed/approved this for a 
whole month, or did I miss some followups?

I'm not sure whether we just could refer to Mauve 
(http://sourceware.org/mauve/), since Jack is now part of Mauve,
but in any case I recommend to link to the Mauve homepage, even
when referencing Jacks.

Indeed.  Please apply to mainline and 4.0 with the updated link.
