java-patches is not a so high-volume list. high-volume lists scare
away new contributors. Thats my reason to try to keep the stuff here
in a way so people can actually contribute without being bombed by
mail.
As I said above: another possibility is gzip/bzip2 the patch.
BTW: I don't really think such bug patches are really useful to be
archieved. Nobody will look at them in the archive at all.
