logkit

here's the maximal set of files I could compile without introducing
extra packages besides so you can compile log4j (needed for tomcat I
presume)

the guys at jakarta do some great work, but they really are masters in
creating dependencies on all sorts of external packages.

finger crossed, and maybe have my own native tomcat 4.1
(catalina/jasper) running next week... (it's going to be real fun trying
to figure out how to dissect the wars into dso and jars)
