Its worth noting that there is already an LGPL implementation of
JavaSound: see http://tritonus.org/

I think we should think about creating a libgcj "javax plus pack"
distribution that includes free implementations of things like Java3D,
CORBA, JavaSound, ... , rather than bloating up the libgcj distribution
too much (It already takes way to long to build)

By not being an official part of gcc, this distribution would also be
free from the FSF copyright assignment and licensing requirements, so we
can easily pull in bits and pieces from different projects.
