Umm... you didn't use "cvs import", did you?  If you use import, it is
much, much easier for us to do future merges.  If you don't use
import, they become needlessly difficult.

Also, I'm concerned that we didn't talk about this before it was done.
It is ok, sort of, since it is on a branch.  But in general we ought
to discuss changes like these beforehand.  I'm particularly concerned
about this one since I'm not sure we want to use 5.0alpha --
presumably it is "alpha" for a reason.  Maybe we should adopt a policy
of using the most recent stable version.  (I'm not sure how I feel
about this, I'm just pointing out that talking about it would be
good.)

Somewhere around here I have a document describing how and why to use
"cvs import".  I'll try to clean it up and put it in the libgcj web
pages sometime this week.
