I was hoping

git://gcc.gnu.org/git/gcc.git

mirror branches/vect256 instead of ix86 so that
I can just pull from it.

http://gcc.gnu.org/wiki/GitMirror

remotes/origin/ix86 is still listed. I did a clone of

git://gcc.gnu.org/git/gcc.git

and I got x86 branch.
