Disclaimer: I am writing this in my capacity as non-native speaker, not
as SC member or doc maintainer. ;-)
To me "non-autonomous" has connotations of being a child, or ill, or
fragile.
Unfortunately, I do not really have an alternate grand proposal. Some-
thing like "Not self-approving Maintainers" or "Non-self-...", perhaps?
