Yes, as you (David Fang) suggested. Should I add a note in the old
place AboutGCCConfiguration (I don't know if the wiki permit "symbolic
links" or "page redirection" IYSWIM)?
I have a suggestion: use the subversion property mechanism to add
metainformation about how some source files are generated by other
source files.
For example
svn ps gcc:generated-from 'Makefile.tpl Makefile.def' $GCCTOP/Makefile.in
svn ps gcc:generating-command 'autogen Makefile.tpl' $GCCTOP/Makefile.in
Does that makes sense?
Are SubVersion properties used in the GCC subversion tree? Apparently
not, except for standard Svn and Svk properties...
Regards.
