Its a good idea Dan. :)
May be I can start with define_peephole to define_peephole2 ?
Where I can found specific documentation about this?

GIYF. Searching for define_peephole2 got me quite a few interesting hits, starting with http://gcc.gnu.org/onlinedocs/gccint/define_005fpeephole2.html

And, when I will have doubts, ask in the list or exists anyone
interested in help-me, by mentoring this tasks?

Ask the list (after googling*, of course). The best way to attract a mentor is by teaching yourself and making a bit of progress, I think.

I will get the code from svn and start the "cleaning". :)

Good luck... - Dan
