If you review the emails in fortran@ for the few months, you'll find
that the copyright clerk has acknowledged receiving a disclaimer from
Asher. This clerk probably discarded it because it was not a FSF approved
assignment. In addition, several of us on fortran@ have tried to get
the copyright issues resolved in this matter. It is amazing to see the
level of incompetency displayed by assignment@.
