Correcting the address, yes.  Changing to a different version of the
LGPL though?  Did they specifically say "Any sources using an old
version of the LGPL should upgrade to the latest LGPL in order to get
the corrected address"?

Otherwise, IMHO the right solution is to simply edit the COPYING.LIB
to just correct the address, without introducing any other licensing
changes.
