No, <sys/link.h> is not directly included, only <link.h>. 

Oh, I see.   And I think I now understand what the
--with-local-prefix does, so I'll let you know the results in a few
hours.  I've put --with-local-prefix=/tmp/gcc-local which doesn't
exist.
