I hope that was not meant to be taken literally, or perhaps memory
really is that cheap where you live.
Apple charge me 19x-33x that amount, depending on model. Plus shipping.
On topic: Even if memory were cheap (which it is not) and if locality
were good (which is not the case either), spare memory would be more
useful to run more things at once (parallel compilations).
