Well, the News Bruiser setup was started before there was a wiki (what
is its URL these days?).

http://gcc.gnu.org/wiki

Even though it is not a wiki, the News Bruiser setup allows plural
authors, and various permissions on comments, and plural notebooks
with their own editors -- this would be relevant for non-English versions
or for separate notebooks on Fortran, Patches, etc.

Not sure we need any of those features and/or that we can't do something just
as sensible with the Wiki.

I don't get it.

We should do the wiki.

Are you --

1. Somehow of the opinion that one precludes the other?
OR
2. Are you just saying you have no interest in helping with any non-wiki GCCNews (but others, of course, are free to)?
OR
3. You don't want the NewsBruiser GCCNews to even exist, but don't want to say why?

Thank you for the URL.

It may be, that no interest in http://gccnews.chatta.us will exist. Basically, the cost is the 600 MB/month bandwidth use, which even I can afford.

Unless better reasons are given, or I come to believe the community wishes it gone, the existing GCCNews will continue for some time.

I also tend to explore what I can do in that direction on the wiki front.
