GCC is not just a marketing effort. It's also important that the GCC
developer community can identify themselves with the logo.
I think the current proposal has technical problems, too. It's too
dark, and printers generally do not like dark areas. After adjusting
brightness and contrast, the gnu's nose looks really weired. 8-(
I'd rather see something which gives an impression of foundation, of a
source of power. Maybe the hooves of a galloping gnu (if gnus ever
gallop, I don't know 8-).
