If we ever happen to agree on using a subset of C++ (which, according
to last report is not going to happen anytime soon) and we agree on
not using MI (that is a big if), then we could manage to enforce its
detection through a -W option.
Fair enough, but that's not what you said originally. I strongly agree
with automatic procedures to address code quality issues, but you
were originally planning to rely on the review process to do that,
and that was what I was objecting to.
