GCC 3.4.0 has lots of failures in test-suite

	Let me first say, congrats on this release. Unfortunately for me
(past 36 hours), I haven't been able to get this one to successfully test.
It seems to build fine, but for example, when testing, I get the
following:

got a INT signal, interrupted by user

                === g++ Summary ===

# of expected passes            1135
# of unexpected failures        1735
# of expected failures          14
# of unresolved testcases       48
# of unsupported tests          24
/opt/gcc-3.4.0-obj/gcc/testsuite/../g++ version 3.4.0

make[1]: [check-g++] Error 1 (ignored)
make: *** [check-gcc] Interrupt

I'm building gcc-3.4.0 using gcc-3.3.3 which I've been using since its
release without issues. I have all the tools installed that are required
for running the test-suite, as in:

Dejagnu 1.4.4
Expect 5.41 (test reveals 3 failures, best I could ever get)
Tcl 8.4.6 (test reveals 0 failures)

This system is a dual athlon 1900MP using kernel 2.6.5 and glibc 2.3.2 (each
compiled from source).

I'm configuring gcc-3.4.0 by simply doing:

cd /opt
tar jxf gcc-3.4.0.tar.bz2
mkdir gcc-3.4.0-obj
cd gcc-3.4.0-obj
../gcc-3.4.0/configure (completes successfully)
make -j 2 bootstrap (also tried 'make bootstrap')
make -k check (also tried 'make check')

>From here, I get lots of failures. Having built all previous 3.x versions
and several 2.x versions, I knew something was wrong. I've tried several
different versions of dejagnu, expect, and tcl. Nothing I've tried has
changed the outcome at all.

Any help that could be offered would be greatly appreciated. Please CC as
I'm not on this mailing list.

Thanks,
Steve
