Are you going to set a goal for the release (say, max 30 regressions), just like you did to create the branch?

Probably not. I think it will have to be case-by-case; if there were 25 regressions, but all of them were ICE-after-valid-error-message, that would be a lot better than 25 wrong-code-on-i686-compiling-libc. So, I have to go through the open ones and see which can be downgraded -- if they don't get fixed.
