Do we really need to care for Itanium1 in the context of GCC 3.5?


There were very few Itanium1's produced, and I would guess most
of them have been awarded the status of boat anchor by now.
Obviously it is worth keeping compatibility if no effort is
involved, but I don't see it being worth much effort to do so.
