I don't disagree with that. Note again that tree-ssa is being funded quite
well.
But the point is that tree-ssa is going to break things. Like Ada (unless ACT
can magically make an Ada compiler appear that builds functions as trees ;-).
And if, say, the steering committee or yourself or some major contributor,
already says beforehand that this is unacceptable, then no-one is going to
seriously consider proposals from any such "specific people".
