successfully built and installed GCC on RedHat 7.3, kernel 2.4.21,glibc 2.2.5-42

i686-pc-linux-gnu

I have the following processor according to /proc/cpuinfo
and i would like to know if my build options are optimal.
I could not find recommendations in the GCC configure docs at
