- Subject: successful build/install of gcc 3.3 on i386-unknown-openbsd3.3
I have successfully built on an i386-unknown-openbsd3.3 system,
running the kernel
% head -1 /etc/motd
OpenBSD 3.3 (GENERIC) #44: Sat Mar 29 13:22:05 MST 2003
% cd /usr/local/src/gcc/gcc-3.3/
% config.guess
i386-unknown-openbsd3.3
% gcc -v
Reading specs from /usr/local/lib/gcc-lib/i386-unknown-openbsd3.3/3.3/specs
Configured with: ../gcc-3.3/configure --enable-languages=c,c++,f77 --disable-nls
Thread model: single
gcc version 3.3
%
I configured with
--enable-languages=c,c++,f77 --disable-nls
and built with
gmake CFLAGS='-O' LIBCFLAGS='-g -O2' \
LIBCXXFLAGS='-g -O2 -fno-implicit-templates' bootstrap
