Thank you. I posted a gprof info to the mailing list
and Andrew Pinski followed-up with an interesting info, too.
I have no idea if his patch  is in CVS or not.

It is not yet, I will be submitting it for approval (I still need to get my copyright assignment in also) when I get prove that it actually helps rather than hurts. I will look soon to see if it helps.
