[ANNOUNCE][CFH] gcc-cvs <-> CIA gateway

  Hello,

I'd like to announce a gateway between the gcc-cvs mailing list and the CIA.
CIA (http://navi.picogui.org/svn/picogui/trunk/tools/irc/cia.html) is a special
device for collecting commit messages across a wide range of free software
projects, from KDE or Gnome through the Linux kernel or FreeBSD src repository
to Mozilla or Python. CIA receives the commit messages through mail and makes
up a simple statistics (http://navi.picogui.org/cgi-bin/cia_stats.cgi) from
them. Additionally, it broadcasts all the commit messages on the FreeNode
(http://www.freenode.org/) IRC network (channel #commits).

The gcc project commits are gatewayed for about a week now and gcc is already
doing quite nice, being the fifth most active project. Just to let you know
:-).

It would be nice, though, if someone else could run the script (ideally on
the server where gcc.gnu.org is living, or directly integrated into the CVS
repository), as I'm currently running it on my home machine, which runs 24
hours a day, but still isn't *that* stable. The (perl) script I'm using is
quite short and simple and easy to review (it's not the official one, though
--- it has a lot of enhancements and much more comprehensible and richer
output). Please contact me privately if you are interested.

  Kind regards,

The concept is interesting and well-formed, but in order to earn better than a
'C', the idea must be feasible.
