[Cygwin, please help] Re: g77 problem

Dr Jeff Forshaw wrote:

I have a peculiar problem using g77. I can compile and produce sensible
object files, and I can create executables. However, when I come to run

executable I get the error
"bash: MZ?: command not found"
I am running g77 under cygwin and I have uninstalled and re-installed
gcc.

As I only see Microsoft driven computers from a distance at work (i.e., not where I fix bugs in g77), I cannot help you here.

I hope the somewhat more descriptive Subject line in this reply will alert Cygwin maintainers on the GCC list.
