I can confirm that I'm now able to bootstrap mainline CVS' core
compilers on alphaev67-dec-osf5.1 since this patch was checked in this
morning. Many thanks.
Now to trackdown the relocation problems in libjava. I don't suppose
anyone knows which patch might have introduced these?
.libs/libgcj.la-4.o: branch relocation out-of-range, bad object file
produced, can't branch from 0x3ffbfd1b518 to 0xfffffffffffffffc
