I installed cygwin today, so I thought it was reasonably fresh/stable.
After I failed to compile 3.3, I tried the gcc-3_2-branch, it
worked. When I did a make install, I guess I forgot to specify
the --prefix during configuration and overwrote
the default cygwin GCC compiler.
Same result though.
$ gcc -v
Reading specs from /usr/local/lib/gcc-lib/i686-pc-cygwin/3.2.3/specs
Configured with: ../gccsrc32/configure
Thread model: single
gcc version 3.2.3
I'm glad to see that CygWin is a supported compile environment though.
