sparcv9 or sparc64 for solaris2.9?

Has solaris 2.9 (64 bit) had some testing behind?
What is the default config for a 64 bit gcc on solaris 2.9?
I build/test right now a gcc-3.2.2 for sparcv9 and I get quite a few
failures for g++. So I wonder if I took the wrong config.
On sparc64-sun-solaris2.8 the results were not that bad. Well, to be
honest, I don't have 3.2.2 results handy. But on 3.2.3 they were much
better.
But anyway, the question remains, what is the right config?
