Does this mean that you're willing to see the port dropped from GCC?
Or would you rather we fixed it?
I did major work on the ARC port quite a while ago (starting with GCC
2.8.1), but then the company I did it for spent time debugging it and
fixing what they found. I tried a number of times to get back from
them their final sources, but they were running into venture capital
deadlines and never really had the time to do it. I put *some* of my
changes in, but not all. The situation as I understand it is best
described as "a mess" because ARC themselves also tried unsuccessfully
to get involved.
