Subject: successful build of GCC 3.2.2

Successful build of gcc 3.2.2. on Red Hat 8.0:

$ config.guess
i686-pc-linux-gnu

$ gcc -v
Reading specs from /usr/local/lib/gcc-lib/i686-pc-linux-gnu/3.2.2/specs
Configured with: /home/conrad/install/gcc-3.2.2/configure : (reconfigured) ../configure --with-stabs --enable-threads=posix --enable-languages=c,c++,f77,java

gcc version 3.2.2

$ cat /etc/issue
Red Hat Linux release 8.0 (Psyche)

$ uname -a

$ rpm -q glibc
glibc-2.2.93-5
