Hi,
I'm an independent software developer working at a large motion picture film laboratory
in Burbank, California. We use a lot of networked Macs here, and
I'm writing some digital cinema apps in Cocoa. I'm paying close
attention to GNUstep for future portability issues.
Some of the code I developed in the past is written in C++. It
would be very valuable if I could integrate this stuff with new
Objective-C code instead of having to recode it, and if we ever
move to Linux or Windows, I'd have a path open to me.
Please seriously think about adding the Apple C++/Objective-C patches
to gcc so guys like me can more easily gain the confidence of management
when we tell them we think they should do new projects in Objective-C. Thank you very much.
