For powerpc-eabi I find it reconfigures the following

Configuring in powerpc-eabi/newlib
Configuring multilibs for libstdc++-v3
Configuring in powerpc-eabi/libstdc++-v3
Configuring multilibs for libf2c
Configuring in powerpc-eabi/libf2c
Configuring multilibs for libobjc
Configuring in powerpc-eabi/libobjc
