- Subject: Uninstall gcc 3.1
Is there any way to uninstall gcc 3.1 in this system?:
-Output from running srcdir/config.guess.
i686-pc-linux-gnu
-The output of gcc -v for my old gcc.
Reading specs from /usr/local/lib/gcc-lib/i686-pc-linux-gnu/3.1/specs
Configured with: ../confirgure : (reconfigured) ../configure
Model of threads: single
gcc version 3.1
- Distribution name and version:
Red Hat Linux 8.0 upgraded from version 7.2 (Enigma)
- The version of the Linux kernel:
Linux morpheo 2.4.18-14 Wed Sep 4 13:35:50 EDT 2002 i686 i686 i386
GNU/Linux
- The version of glibc I used:
glibc-2.2.93-5
I have tried everything...the last thing was upgrading the operating system
from 7.2 to 8.0 but it is still using gcc 3.1 and I have the same compilation
errors (don't find header files...)
I hope this is enought information to solve the problem. I'm looking forward
to your response. Thanks a lot,
Carlos
