I had duplicated the bug with 20021024 on i686-pc-linux-gnu. But I just
tried it with 20021031, and it no longer occurs.
The report indicated that it had been introduced sometime in the 3.2.1
branch (I previously confirmed that it wasn't in 3.2).
In any case, I'll close the bug, and I will also re-check the other
high-priority bugs to see if they are still present (at least those that
affect a platform I can test).
