Can anyone else reproduce this? I just managed to bootstrap mainline
CVS yesterday on Solaris 2.8 without problems. The host compiler
was also gcc 3.2. Both the host compiler and the bootstrap compiler
were configured as described below:
sunny% ./xgcc -v
Reading specs from /usr/local/lib/gcc-lib/sparc-sun-solaris2.8/3.3/specs
Configured with: ../gcc/configure --with-as=/usr/ccs/bin/as
--with-ld=/usr/ccs/bin/ld --disable-nls
Thread model: posix
gcc version 3.3 20020924 (experimental)
"make -k check" included the following lines:
=== gcc Summary ===
# of expected passes 20337
# of unexpected failures 6
# of expected failures 62
# of unsupported tests 132
/space/roger/GCC/clean/gcc/xgcc version 3.3 20020924 (experimental)
Obviously a third data point would be great.
