But maybe this can wait for the mainline/3.2.1 and we go with your patch
for 3.2.
Yes.
It would be nice to have the configury stuff in only one placce, and that
can get done on the mainline. Jakub's patch, however, is incremental
progress, and is safer. So, it's fine for the branch -- and the mainline
until later.
