- Subject: autoconfiscation status notification
This is just a notification that I have what I think is a working top
level autoconfiscation. I'm currently bootstrapping and it's finished
stage1 successfully. After I finish the bootstrap, I have two more
native bootstrap scenarios to test (ubertree and build-in-place), and
then four non-native combinations, and finally the 'dist'-type targets
for gdb & binutils, so it will be a while before I actually sumbit the
patch.
But I really think this one's going to work. :-)
One nice thing -- 'make' is already somewhat faster than it used to be,
so the testing shouldn't take as long as I originally anticipated.
I would, however, like to know if there are any particular targets which
I should test to make sure 'multilibs' work properly, since I'm not big
on the understanding of multilibs.
It would also be nice if someone could suggest particular
cross-compilation targets which generally work 'out of the box', so I
don't have to spend my time working around bugs which my changes neither
create nor destroy.
