Uninstalling GCC

The GCC installation documents recommend strongly to install in a
directory where no other version of GCC resides. But wouldn't it then be
nice if there was a make target called uninstall, or some uninstall
script? I usually just go with the /usr/local default location, and
there is always another version. It is very tedious to remove it by hand.

Any ideas?

/David
