There's no dejagnu in the GCC CVS tree.  There's one in the
sources.redhat.com CVS tree, that is maintained as part of GDB, but if
you have questions regarding dejagnu, you'd better ask them in a forum
devoted to dejagnu.

FWIW, the need for a C++ compiler to build dejagnu has annoyed me as
well.
