This was a bug introduced very late in the 3.1 development.  It will be
corrected in the release.  Please try this patch for the time being:

	http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc-patches/2002-05/msg00910.html

It moves the N64 libgcc_s.so to the mabi=64 subdirectory of $libdir, but
retains the N32 one in $libdir.  This way, libgcc_s and the other shared
libraries are treated the same.
