People experiencing slow libstdc++ configure, please try this test

The Autoconf maintainers believe they have a fix in hand for the
excruciatingly slow libstdc++ configure script. They would appreciate
testing by people experiencing the problem.

Appended to this message is a shell script. Please do the following:

Save the script to a file. Edit the first two lines of the file so
that they refer to the shell which runs libstdc++-v3/configure
painfully slowly. Run the script, record the results.

If you have a shell on your system which executes
libstdc++-v3/configure at a reasonable pace, repeat the above with the
first two lines of the script referring to that shell.

Mail me the results, along with your canonical system name, the
absolute paths of all the shells you tried, and annotations indicating
which ones run libstdc++-v3/configure slowly.

Thanks.
