Re: sparcv9 bootstrap failure; gengenrtl dumps core

Alexander,

There's a site that might be able to help you. sunfreeware.com has a
snapshot from last year that I have used to generate a 64bit gcc. They have
pkgs for various solaris levels and also have the source for that pkg that
contains the 64bit compiler.

Regards,

George...

Subject: sparcv9 bootstrap failure; gengenrtl dumps core

hey folks. just giving you all the heads up that i've repeated brad's
gengenrtl core dump during the bootstrap of today's cvs for
sparcv9-sun-solaris2.

i'd like to debug this a little bit, but i don't have a 64-bit version of
gdb because i don't have a 64-bit compiler that works. would anyone that
does happen to know where i could pick up a version of gdb built 64-bit
for sun4u (or similar?) ... or should i just wait until this bug gets
fixed and try compiling it myself at a later date?

any help/pointers appreciated.
