Messages like the following are a big problem for the gcc project.
If you work for a company that insists on attaching such messages to
all your outgoing mail, please don't use the account to send mail
to the gcc list. Get a free account from yahoo or netscape or someone
and use that to communicate with us instead.
The reason is that anything you send is instantly published on the
gcc.gnu.org web site, which means that we are violating the notice; we
have no means of complying with the demands. We don't want to put the GCC
project at legal risk. We may have to simply ban offending companies from
the mailing lists to avoid legal problems.
Besides, such messages are rude. They try to make errors by company
employees someone else's problem by means of legal threats.
