Huh? Both 2.95.x-based g77 (g77-2.95) and 3.0.x-based g77 (g77-3.0) are
available on PPC from Debian (I'm currently on my Tibook, so I'm sure of
this). Granted, I'm running unstable, but I do see versions of g77 also
available in testing.
