I had an unmodified NetBSD make as /usr/bin/make on my systems for
a long time until about 2 years ago.
Last time I tried both NetBSD and OpenBSD make compiled fine with
the supplied bootstrap makefile on my Linux system.
Of course it doesn't work. We've performed a software upgrade.
