Well, the effect certainly wasn't what I expected.  You may not
have checked the NON_SPECIAL_REGS class though.

I suppose there's always the brute-force solution -- create a
new movdi pattern that doesn't prefer fp regs.  I.e. just the
same as the existing movdi pattern, except s/f/*f/g.
