Following the great work Diego is doing with his SPEC95 testing (check
http://www.cygnus.com/~dnovillo/SPEC/), I've set up two AMD Athlon
machines for running SPECint2000 and SPECfpu2000 on the CVS version of
the day.
Currently I run the following:
- reportable SPECint2000 runs once a day
- reportable SPECint2000 runs once a day that used feedback based
optimization (base run uses -O2, peak runs uses -O2 with feedback).
- non-reportable runs around the clock: Checkout GCC from CVS, run
SPECint and SPECfp once (for SPECfp only those tests that don't need
a Fortran 90 compiler) and start again.
The data together with a bit more information can be accessed via
http://www.suse.de/~aj/SPEC/index.html
I made make further changes to the stuff. I've also added added data
from GCC 2.95.2 and GCC 3.0.
Gerald, where and how should I put this on the web pages?
Btw. if somebody could tell me why 252.eon will not execute correctly
when compiled by GCC 3.0 or GCC 3.1, I would appreciate it.
Any suggestions how to improve this are welcome,
Andreas
