Can you duplicate the bug with a cross compiler to mips? I have a
complete cross toolchain rpm to Linux/mips for RedHat 7.1. You
can install it and use it to build the gcc 3.0 cross compiler for
Linus/mips. I can also try your mips patch for you if you want.
